I bought a 144hz acer monitor with my new omen gaming computer (which has a gtx 1070) and when i connected them and got it running, my game would only show 60hz.
I'm planing to buy a second Monitor, but with 60hz and 1080p. Asus VG248QG 24” Gaming Monitor, 1080P Full HD, 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), G-SYNC Compatible, 0.5ms, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Eye Care, DisplayPort … So i went to nvidia control panel and it said i had 2 monitors (but i only have 1) however when i clicked on the 2nd monitor that one could show 144hz.
Chrome will report as 72Hz in ufo test because of weirdness but the monitor itself is still at 144Hz when gaming and regular desktop use. Am going to do dual monitor, but I was wondering if a 144hz and 60hz monitor dual setup would work at all, or with my specs: GTX 950 AMD 8350, thanks in advance .
